Welcoming of New Filipino Students
At the beginning of each academic year, the "Welcoming of the New Students" event marks an exciting introduction for newcomers to the academic community in Hungary. This event serves as an essential orientation, providing new students with important information and guidance as they begin their journey. It’s an opportunity for them to familiarize themselves with the academic environment, campus resources, and cultural aspects of studying in Hungary, helping them transition smoothly into their new academic life.

On the 28th of September 2024, the Association of Filipino Students in Hungary, in collaboration with the Philippine Embassy in Hungary, hosted a heartfelt and enriching welcome event for newly arrived Filipino students.
The gathering was graced by the presence of H.E. Ambassador Frank Cimafranca, Consul General Roderico Atienza, and other distinguished officials, along with the dedicated officers of the association, all of whom played pivotal roles in making the event a success.
The students were not only provided with essential information and guidance on navigating academic life in Hungary, but were also warmly embraced by a supportive community.
