Filipinos' Pathway to Excellence
Promoting the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program to the Filipino student community provides an opportunity to expand access to quality education abroad, offering financial support that eliminates barriers for many aspiring scholars. Hungarian universities provide world-class programs in diverse fields, equipping students with global competence, cross-cultural skills, and professional networks that are essential in today’s interconnected world.
By studying in Hungary, Filipino students can serve as cultural ambassadors, fostering mutual understanding and strengthening ties between the Philippines and Hungary. Moreover, returning scholars contribute to national development by applying advanced knowledge and skills to local challenges, aligning with the country’s goals for human resource development.
This initiative also reinforces bilateral relations and opens pathways for further collaboration between the two nations, making the promotion of this program a strategic investment in the future of Filipino students and the country as a whole.
The journey to global academic excellence took center stage as two info sessions on the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship were successfully held on January 6 and January 10, 2025, drawing 67 registered participants. These sessions showcased the scholarship’s comprehensive benefits, including full tuition coverage, monthly stipends, and the chance to study in Hungary’s prestigious universities.
Current Filipino SH scholars shared their inspiring journeys, while providing comprehensive and valuable guidance on the application process. The initiative was bolstered by the enthusiastic support of Samar State University, University of the Philippines Los Baños, Quirino State University, and University of the Philippines Diliman, which helped disseminate webinar details to their communities.
Through this iniative, more Filipinos can access opportunities like the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship and pursue their academic dreams abroad.
